RF Welding



RF welding is the process of fusing materials with high-frequency radio energy. It entails:

​

  • “Exciting” the poles of the polymer molecules, causing them to alternate and change field
  • Converting “field energy” to heat, creating a weld at the contact point of the two materials
  • Cooling the material to specifications

​

We can RF weld PU films, PU coated fabrics, PVC, PET, EVA and some forms of ABS.

UltraSonic Welding

Ultrasonic welding is similar to RF welding, except the heat is generated by vibration.

 

Ultrasonic welding is the fastest heat-sealing technology available and applicable on most types of plastic materials
